This course explores social services contract and delivery management.

Contract Management is part of MBIE’s Te Whānau Manaaki, which explores cultural competency and procurement practices that support more effective social services partnering. The contract management stage of the procurement cycle focuses on two areas:

  • Hononga – Connecting to Others [connection in Te Reo Māori] explores the role of the contract manager, developing relationships and their toolkit.
  • Ratonga – Service to Others [service in Te Reo Māori] examines the phases of service delivery management, effective meetings, monitoring and supporting the delivery.

Each consists of an online interactive module and a facilitated wānanga (workshop), which can be delivered face-to-face or remotely.
