The start date for the new AoG office supplies contract is
18 July 2021. Through nine nationwide suppliers, the contract focuses on
supporting the government’s broader outcomes targets by designing waste out of
the system and supporting New Zealand businesses through the wider supply
chain. Respondents have committed to reducing the waste associated with
their products by favouring recyclable and compostable materials, and
supporting a shift to a circular economy through product stewardship schemes.
